<rant>Just in case you were wondering (like my web host was), I don’t get a red cent from this blog. I’m committed to unbiased comment and analysis. It’s part of both of my professions (broadcasting and teaching) and I’m personally committed to evaluating everything on the basis of the available evidence. If I review it, I’ve bought it with my own hard-earned money. If I recommend it, it’s because I really thinks it is worthwhile. If you want to pay me to say something, you’ll have to pay me a full-time wage! </rant>

There’s something about being where everything is familiar the puts me at ease. Being out exploring the world is great, but there has to be somewhere to go back to afterwards. A mattress on a mate’s floor is great for a few nights, but there’s nothing like your own bed.

CloudofSteam has been wondering around a bit these last few months, with a move from Blogspot to Typepad, but we’re roaming no longer, having moved in at cloudofsteam.com. There are still a few boxes to unpack, but we’ve got out everything we need for the night. The rest will be sorted out as it’s needed.

Like Dorothy Gale said, echoing John Howard Payne before her, “There’s no place like home.”
